Our oldest client got in touch with us to make a Sound Recording of an Employment Law Seminar that they were involved with. As it was held in the National Union of Teacher’s headquarter in Central London, we were confident in our set up as we had worked there on several occasions previously.
We chose a miniature condenser microphone concealed on the lectern, together with a pair of boundary mics on the panel’s table for comment / chairman’s introductions etc. On this event, no Q&A was required so this made things fairly straight forward. The recorder was set up on a table halfway down the hall, and we were ready.
Everything went smoothly, even for such a busy day (we had two more recordings happening that day). A fair amount to edit from a whole day’s worth of recording, but we still had the material ready for the client by close of play the following day. Thanks to David & Helen from Bath Publishing for all their support over the years.
